The School of Agriculture and Natural Sciences is seeking an outstanding Agriculture Instructor with appropriate experience in post-secondary teaching, the ability to work in a student-centered setting, and research; commencing July 1, 2009. 

Qualifications: The successful candidate must have a practical working knowledge of the crop industry in Southern Alberta and will be able to instruct a broad range of topics within the program including Crop Production, Botany, and Soil Management and will possess a strong understanding of pesticide application, horticulture, and current agricultural practices in Western Canada.

Applicants will have an MSc in Agronomy or a related field (PhD preferred) and are active in government or industry organizations with linkages to applied research opportunities.  The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual who has the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience, has a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, and is willing to engage in applied research and scholarly activities.

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience in accordance with the current Faculty Collective Agreement.
