Curriculum Services Canada (CSC) seeks a talented senior instructional designer with a depth of knowledge and experience in project management, learning design, content development, quality assurance processes and client relations. This person will work directly with internal and external team members to ensure a high standard of delivery of services and initiatives in training, e-learning, and knowledge mobilization to clients in education and adult learning contexts.
The successful candidate will possess skills and credentials in multimedia content development and oversight and will have a solid understanding of what new technologies, innovative solutions and effective e-learning can do to enhance all the above. You will be able to cope with and adapt easily to constant change in a fast-paced, collaborative, technology-driven working environment.
A skilled instructional designer, the successful candidate has the ability to visualize and convey instructional graphics, user interfaces, interactions and the finished product. You write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts, and other media. In addition, you have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with clients and Subject Matter Experts, to build rapport, establish trust, and influence people in the creation of effective instructional solutions. You work successfully with a multi-disciplinary team, championing all aspects of the design process and contribute to the capacity building of the team. Bilingualism and not-for-profit experience would be an asset.
